The Flood Watch continues for * Portions of west central Virginia and southeast West Virginia, including the following areas, in west central Virginia, Alleghany VA, Bath and Rockbridge. In southeast West Virginia, Eastern Greenbrier, Mercer, Monroe, Summers and Western Greenbrier.

* Through Monday morning * Runoff from additional heavy rain may cause flash flooding late this afternoon into early Monday morning.

* Quick rises on area creeks, streams, and other low lying areas will be possible. Downed trees are also possible as a result of saturated ground and root systems. A few mudslides or rock slides cannot be ruled out especially in areas of steep terrain. Roads may be impassable due to flooding.
