RRA At 752 PM MDT, local law enforcement reported thunderstorms producing heavy rain across the warned area. Between 1 and 2 inches of rain have fallen. The expected rainfall rate is 1.5 to 3 inches in 1 hour. Flash flooding is ongoing or expected to begin shortly.
HAZARD...Flash flooding caused by thunderstorms.
SOURCE...Law enforcement reported flooding in downtown Burlington.
IMPACT...Flash flooding of small creeks and streams, urban areas, highways, streets and underpasses as well as other poor drainage and low-lying areas.
Some locations that will experience flash flooding include...
Burlington, Stratton, Seibert, Bethune and Vona.
This includes the following highways...
Highway 385 between mile markers 163 and 187.
Interstate 70 in Colorado between mile markers 397 and 438.
