At 118 AM EDT, Doppler radar was tracking a cluster of strong thunderstorms over Colonial Heights, or near Kingsport, moving northeast at 20 mph.
HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 40 mph and pea size hail.
SOURCE...Radar indicated.
IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is possible.
Locations impacted include...
Johnson City, Kingsport, Bristol Tn, Bristol Va, Gray, Oak Grove, Walnut Hill, Spurgeon, Colonial Heights, and Tri-City Airport.
