Flash Flooding caused by a potential dam or levee failure is possible at Dams #2, #28, #63, and Epperson Dam on the Ararat River. This is a precautionary measure due to high rainfall, there are currently no identified integrity threats to the dams.

A portion of southwest Virginia, including the following county, Patrick.

Through Monday afternoon.

* IMPACTS...
Dam failure may result in flash flooding of low-lying areas below the dam. This includes the city of Ararat.
