Snow expected. Total snow accumulations of 2 to 3 inches, with locally up to 5 inches along western-facing slopes above 2500 feet. Winds gusting as high as 45 mph. Visibility one-half mile or less at times.

In Maryland, Eastern Garrett County. In Virginia, Western Highland County.

* WHEN...
Until 7 AM EST Thursday.

* IMPACTS...
Plan on slippery road conditions. The hazardous conditions will impact the Thursday morning commute. Gusty winds could bring down tree branches.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
Brief periods of heavy snow and very low visibility are possible in squalls through late this evening, then snow will gradually taper off through early Thursday morning.
