Portions of North Carolina, including the following counties, Alleghany NC, Surry, Wilkes and Yadkin and southwest Virginia, including the following county, Grayson.

* WHEN...
Until 300 PM EDT.

* IMPACTS...
Dangerous flows over low-water crossings. Water over roadways. Some low-water crossings may become impassable.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
- At 1154 AM EDT, Doppler radar and automated rain gauges indicated heavy rain. Minor flooding is already occurring in the advisory area. Between 4 and 10 inches of rain have fallen.
