The Flood Advisory will expire at 1145 PM EDT this evening for portions of Rockingham County in north central North Carolina and for the following counties in Virginia, Appomattox, Campbell, Halifax, Henry, and Pittsylvania, and for the independent city of Danville.
The heavy rain has ended. Flooding is no longer expected to pose a threat. Please continue to heed remaining road closures.
