Southwestern Tazewell County in southwestern Virginia...

Until 800 PM EDT.

* IMPACTS...
Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas.
Water over roadways. Overflowing poor drainage areas.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
- At 650 PM EDT, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain due to thunderstorms. Minor flooding is ongoing or expected to begin shortly in the advisory area. Up to 1 inch of rain has fallen.
- This includes the following streams and drainages...
Hungry Mother Creek, Indian Creek, Beaver Creek, Little River, Blue Spring Creek, Crewey Branch, Laurel Creek, Lick Creek and Campbell Creek. Flooding impacts will continue, but no additional rainfall is expected.
- Some locations that will experience flooding include...
Asberrys, Broadford, Nebo and Allison Gap.
