A portion of eastern North Carolina, including the following areas, Beaufort, Hatteras Island, Mainland Dare, Mainland Hyde, Martin, Northern Outer Banks, Pitt, Tyrrell and Washington.

* WHEN...
From Friday afternoon through late Friday night.

* IMPACTS...
Excessive runoff may result in flooding of rivers, creeks, streams, and other low-lying and flood-prone locations.
Flooding may occur in poor drainage and urban areas.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
- Numerous showers and thunderstorms may produce heavy rainfall rates in excess of 2 inches per hour at times, with widespread rainfall totals of 2 to 4 inches possible, locally exceeding 4 inches.
