* At 1130 AM EST, a dangerous snow squall was located along a line extending from near Willowick to near Cleveland Heights to near North Royalton, moving northeast at 40 mph.
HAZARD...Whiteout conditions with near zero visibility associated with intense bursts of heavy snow and gusty winds leading to blowing snow. Wind gusts up to 35 mph.
SOURCE...Radar and webcams.
IMPACT...Dangerous and life-threatening travel conditions are expected to develop rapidly in the warning area.
This will affect portions of I-90, I-271, I-480 and US 422.
Locations impacted include...
Cleveland, Painesville, Willowick, Chardon, Fairport Harbor, Mentor, Solon, Willoughby, Twinsburg, Eastlake, Warrensville Heights, Macedonia, South Russell, Highland Hills, Timberlake, Chesterland, Garfield Heights, Shaker Heights, Maple Heights, and South Euclid.
