.A period of snow, strong winds, and low visibility is expected especially for the western-facing slopes above 2500 feet along and west of the Allegheny Front. The Wednesday evening and Thursday morning commutes will be impacted.

* WHAT...
Blizzard conditions expected. Total snow accumulations between 4 and 7 inches, with locally 8 to 12 inches possible on the western-facing slopes above 2500 feet along and west of the Allegheny Front. Winds gusting as high as 50 mph. Visibility one-quarter mile or less.

* WHERE...
In Maryland, Western Garrett County. In West Virginia, Western Grant and Western Pendleton Counties.

* WHEN...
From 10 AM Wednesday to 10 AM EST Thursday.

* IMPACTS...
Plan on nearly impossible travel. Widespread blowing snow could significantly reduce visibility. The hazardous conditions will impact the Wednesday evening and Thursday morning commutes. Gusty winds could bring down tree branches.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
A burst of snow is expected late Wednesday morning. A lull in the snow is possible early Wednesday afternoon, before another burst of snow Wednesday mid afternoon through early evening. Steady snow will then continue through Wednesday night before gradually tapering off Thursday morning.
