Heavy snow expected. Total snow accumulations between 4 and 8 inches with localized amounts up to 12 inches on the highest peaks of Shenandoah National Park. The strongest winds are expected tonight through Monday with northwest winds gusting around 35 to 50 mph.

Central Virginia Blue Ridge and Northern Virginia Blue Ridge.

Until 7 AM EST Monday.

* IMPACTS...
Roads, and especially bridges and overpasses, will likely become slick and hazardous. Visibilities may drop below 1/4 mile due to falling and blowing snow. Travel could be very difficult. The hazardous conditions will impact the Monday morning commute. Strong winds could cause tree damage.
