THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE HAS ISSUED SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WATCH 654 IN EFFECT UNTIL 10 PM EDT THIS EVENING FOR THE FOLLOWING AREAS IN NORTH CAROLINA THIS WATCH INCLUDES 5 COUNTIES IN EASTERN NORTH CAROLINA GREENE MARTIN PITT TYRRELL WASHINGTON THIS INCLUDES THE CITIES OF BETHEL, COLUMBIA, CRESWELL, FARMVILLE, GREENVILLE, GRIFTON, GRIMESLAND, GUM NECK, HOOKERTON, JAMESVILLE, OAK CITY, PLYMOUTH, ROBERSONVILLE, ROPER, SNOW HILL, WALSTONBURG, AND WILLIAMSTON.
