* Until Wednesday evening.

* At 1:00 PM EST Tuesday the stage was 45.8 feet.

* Flood stage is 46.0 feet.

* Minor flooding is forecast.

* Forecast...
The river is expected to rise above flood stage this afternoon to a crest of 47.3 feet tomorrow morning. It will then fall below flood stage tomorrow evening.

* Impact...
At 48.0 feet, Businesses along river in Pomeroy start to flood. Main street is flooded. Homes near the Pomeroy-Mason bridge on the West Virginia side start to flood.

* Flood History...
This crest compares to a previous crest of 47.2 feet on 05/08/1957.
