Snow; total accumulations of 2 to 4 inches, with locally higher amounts possible above 3500 feet. Winds gusting as high as 45 mph. * WHERE... Western Grant and Western Pendleton Counties. * WHEN... From 7 PM this evening to 10 AM EST Thursday. * IMPACTS... Plan on slippery road conditions. The hazardous conditions could impact the Thursday morning commute. Gusty winds could bring down tree branches. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... Rain may mix with snow at elevations near 4000 feet as soon as early Wednesday afternoon. Otherwise, rain will mix with then change to snow between 7 and 10 PM Wednesday evening. Rapidly falling temperatures may result in a flash freeze of lingering moisture from earlier rainfall on untreated surfaces, especially bridges and overpasses. ![]() |
