The river is expected to fall below flood stage late this evening and continue falling to 7.6 feet early Friday afternoon. * Impact... At 16.0 feet, Water goes over the banks of the Potomac near the mouth of the Opequon River. * Flood History... This crest compares to a previous crest of 16.5 feet on 03/13/1936. |
