At 551 PM EDT, Doppler radar was tracking strong thunderstorms along a line extending from near Elizabeth to near Ripley. Movement was east at 25 mph.
HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 50 mph and penny size hail.
SOURCE...Radar indicated.
IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is possible.
Locations impacted include...
Ripley, Sandyville, Reedy, Lucille, Cherry, Peewee, Creston, Annamoriah, Leroy, Palestine, and Munday.
This includes Interstate 77 in West Virginia between mile markers 138 and 146.
