A brief period of freezing rain is expected to impact the area early Tuesday morning. With temperatures currently in the upper 20s and the lower 30s, icy spots can be expected, especially on bridges, overpasses, and elevated surfaces. This could impact Tuesday morning's commute. Eventually, freezing rain will transition to all rain as surface temperatures warm above freezing.
