Portions of north central North Carolina, including the following counties, Caswell, Rockingham and Stokes and Virginia, including the following counties, Amherst, Appomattox, Bedford, Buckingham, Campbell, Charlotte, Franklin, Halifax, Henry and Pittsylvania.

* WHEN...
Through late tonight.

* IMPACTS...
Excessive runoff may result in flooding of rivers, creeks, streams, and other low-lying and flood-prone locations.
Creeks and streams may rise out of their banks.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
- Developing showers and thunderstorms will be expanding in coverage going through the afternoon hours. High rainfall rates are expected to drive a likelihood for at least scattered areas of flash flooding.
