At 256 PM EDT, Doppler radar was tracking a cluster of strong thunderstorms near Coal Fork, or near Charleston, moving northeast at 20 mph.
HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 50 mph and half inch hail.
SOURCE...Radar indicated.
IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is possible.
Locations impacted include...
Charleston, Clendenin, Pinch, Coal Fork, Elkview, and Glen.
This includes the following highways...
Interstate 79 between mile markers 1 and 21.
Interstate 77 in West Virginia between mile markers 103 and 108.
