...LIGHT SNOW ACCUMULATIONS AND RAPIDLY DROPPING TEMPERATURES TO BRING SLICK CONDITIONS TUESDAY MORNING...
.A strong cold front will move into the Appalachians causing light rain to quickly change to snow in the mountains Tuesday morning, with some light snow accumulations along western slopes and wet roads freezing and becoming icy quickly Tuesday morning around the morning commute times. Light snow accumulations will continue through midday with cold, windy conditions lasting into Tuesday night.
Snow expected. Total snow accumulations of up to two inches. Winds gusting 30 to 40 mph.
Western Greenbrier County.
From 4 AM to 7 PM EST Tuesday.
Travel could be very difficult. As snow accumulates and temperatures drop into the mid 20s during the morning, roads will quickly become very slick. The hazardous conditions could impact the morning or evening commute. Cold wind chills around zero could result in hypothermia if precautions are not taken.

As light rain changes to snow in the pre- dawn hours Tuesday morning, snow accumulations along with rapidly dropping temperatures will cause roads to quickly become icy. Gusty winds may cause some areas of blowing snow and will help to reduce visibilities as well.
