Snow will spread across southwest Virginia, northeast Tennessee, and the Smoky Mountains this morning. Up to 1 inch accumulation may be possible in some spots, but a half inch or less is more likely for most locations. The snow may mix with rain at times, and is expected to taper off or change to rain between 8 AM and 10 AM as temperatures warm.
