Winter Weather Advisory issued November 11 at 11:51PM EST until November 12 at 7:00PM EST by NWS Blacksburg VA
.A strong cold front will move into the Appalachians to bring light rain that will change to snow in the mountains Tuesday morning. Light snow accumulations are expected in the mountains of southeast West Virginia and northwest North Carolina and in the southern Blue Ridge. Wet roads will freeze and become icy during the morning commute. Light snow accumulations will continue through midday with cold and windy conditions lasting into Tuesday night.

For the Winter Weather Advisory, snow expected. Total snow accumulations of 1 to 3 inches. Winds gusting as high as 40 mph. For the Wind Chill Advisory, very cold wind chills expected. Wind chills as low as 10 below zero.

Western Greenbrier County.

For the Winter Weather Advisory, from 4 AM to 7 PM EST Tuesday. For the Wind Chill Advisory, from 7 PM Tuesday to 7 AM EST Wednesday.
