Flooding caused by excessive rainfall is expected.

Portions of Virginia, including the following counties, Alleghany VA, Botetourt and Craig and southeast West Virginia, including the following county, Monroe.

* WHEN...
Until 345 PM EDT.

* IMPACTS...
Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas.
Overflowing poor drainage areas.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
- At 1239 PM EDT, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain due to thunderstorms. Minor flooding is ongoing or expected to begin shortly in the advisory area. Between 1.5 and 2.5 inches of rain have fallen.
- This includes the following streams and drainages...
Blue Spring Run, Craig Creek, Broad Run, Christleys Run, Bens Run, Barbours Creek, Cove Branch, Cove Creek and Catawba Creek.
Additional rainfall amounts of 1 to 2 inches are expected over the area. This additional rain will result in minor flooding.
