Flooding caused by excessive rainfall continues.

* WHERE...
A portion of western North Carolina, including the following county, Burke.

* WHEN...
Until 500 PM EDT.

* IMPACTS...
Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas.
Water over roadways.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
- At 325 PM EDT, After a quick 2 inch rainfall in the city of Morganton, scattered poor drainage and urban type flooding issues had developed. Small drainages, including Hunting Creek had shown rapid rises in creek levels. Continue to watch for elevated stream and creek levels and areas of standing water throughout the advised area.

Morganton, Valdese, Salem, and Drexel.
