Mixed wintry precipitation expected. Total snow accumulations of locally up to one inch and ice accumulations of a light glaze. Accumulations of snow, sleet, and ice will be confined mainly to elevations above 2500 ft.

Portions of southwest Virginia and northwest North Carolina.

* WHEN...
until 10 PM EST tonight.

* IMPACTS...
A slushy mix of sleet and snow will be possible on untreated roads and surfaces at higher elevations. Use caution if planning to travel through higher mountainous terrain and be prepared for areas of minor snow and sleet accumulation in these locations.
