At 248 AM EDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm near Stonewall Jackson, or 8 miles south of Weston, moving east at 25 mph.
HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 40 mph and pea size hail.
SOURCE...Radar indicated.
IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is possible.
Locations impacted include...
Buckhannon, Rock Cave, Walkersville, Volga, Ireland, Ellamore, Lorentz, Tallmansville, Overhill, Hodgesville, Horner, and French Creek.
This includes the following highways...
Interstate 79 between mile markers 90 and 92.
Route 33 between mile markers 1 and 17.
