It will be gusty this afternoon across the area. South to southwest winds of 10 to 20 with gusts to around 35 mph can be expected at times. A few spots will see brief wind gusts in excess of 40 mph.
Gusty winds could blow around unsecured objects. Tree limbs could be blown down and a few power outages may result. Be alert for wind gusts when driving in cross winds, especially in high profile vehicles.
