Flooding caused by excessive rainfall continues to be possible.

* WHERE...
A portion of central North Carolina, including the following counties, Alamance, Chatham, Davidson, Durham, Edgecombe, Forsyth, Franklin, Granville, Guilford, Halifax, Harnett, Johnston, Lee, Moore, Nash, Orange, Person, Randolph, Vance, Wake, Warren, Wayne and Wilson.

* WHEN...
Through late tonight.

* IMPACTS...
Excessive runoff may result in flooding of rivers, creeks, streams, and other low-lying and flood-prone locations.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
- Clusters of thunderstorms may produce very heavy rainfall rates in excess of 2 inches per hour. These heavy rains may fall on areas that are saturated from receent rains.
