At 452 PM EDT, Doppler radar was tracking strong thunderstorms along a line extending from 7 miles southeast of Hitesburg to 8 miles northeast of Rougemont to near Prospect Hill. Movement was east at 45 mph.
HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 40 mph.
SOURCE...Radar indicated.
IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects.
Locations impacted include...
Henderson, Oxford, Creedmoor, Warrenton, Butner, Norlina, Kittrell, Rougemont, Stem, and Stovall.
This includes Interstate 85 between Mile Markers 190 and 233.
