At 900 AM EDT, Doppler radar was tracking strong thunderstorms along a line extending from 7 miles east of Boomer to 8 miles east of Newton. Movement was northeast at 35 mph.
HAZARD...Wind gusts of 40 to 45 mph.
SOURCE...Radar indicated.
IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects.

Statesville, Mocksville, Taylorsville, Troutman, Bermuda Run, Stony Point, Cooleemee, Cleveland, Catawba, and Harmony.
