At 250 AM EST, Doppler radar was tracking a heavy rain shower near Marshall, moving northeast at 35 mph.
Locations to be impacted include...
Marshall, Burnsville, Mars Hill, Maggie Valley, Leicester, Hot Springs, Weaverville, Ramseytown, Swiss and Flat Creek.
Wind gusts of 30 to 40 mph and heavy rainfall rates up to one inch per hour will be possible in these areas.
