Fog has developed across the foothills and Piedmont of North Carolina into the foothills of Virginia. Fog could become locally dense, with visibilities under a half mile. This will impact travel, especially along I-77 between Yadkinville and Hillsville, and I-74 between Mount Airy and the Triad. If driving, be prepared for sudden reductions in visibility. Slow down, use low-beam headlights, and leave extra space between vehicles.
