At 513 PM EDT, strong thunderstorms were located along a line extending from near Rome to Sciotodale, moving southeast at 30 mph.
HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 45 mph and very heavy rain.
SOURCE...Radar indicated.
IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects. Visibility will be poor and hydroplaning is possible.
Locations impacted include...
Portsmouth, Wheelersburg, New Boston, Vanceburg, Rosemount, Camp Dix, Rome, Franklin Furnace, Sciotodale, Saint Paul, Kinniconick, Charters, Petersville, Rexton, Sandy Springs, Firebrick, and Carrs.
If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a sturdy building.
