At 731 PM EDT, Doppler radar was tracking strong thunderstorms along a line extending from near Kannapolis to 6 miles west of Downtown Concord. Movement was northeast at 10 mph.
HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 40 mph and pea size hail.
SOURCE...Radar indicated.
IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to outdoor objects is possible.
Locations impacted include...
Kannapolis, Downtown Concord, Mooresville, China Grove, Landis, Enochville, Coddle Creek Reservoir, Lake Norman, West Concord, and Doolie.
