Heavy snow expected. Total snow accumulations between 4 and 8 inches with localized amounts up to 12 inches on the highest peaks of Shenandoah National Park. Winds gusting as high as 45 mph.

Central Virginia Blue Ridge and Northern Virginia Blue Ridge.

* WHEN...
From 6 AM this morning to 7 AM EST Monday.

* IMPACTS...
Roads, and especially bridges and overpasses, will likely become slick and hazardous. Visibilities may drop below 1/4 mile due to falling and blowing snow. Travel could be very difficult. The hazardous conditions could impact the Monday morning commute. Gusty winds could bring down tree branches.
