A portion of southwest Virginia, including the following counties, Grayson, Smyth and Tazewell. * WHEN... Until 845 PM EST. * IMPACTS... Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas as rain falls across frozen or snow-covered ground. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 438 PM EST, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain. Minor flooding is ongoing or expected to begin shortly in the advisory area. Between 0.5 and 1 inch of rain has fallen over areas with frozen or snow-covered ground. - This includes the following streams and drainages... Beech Fork, Big Creek, Bluestone River, Big Horse Creek, Beaver Creek, Blue Spring Creek, Burkes Garden Creek, Clinch River and Campbell Creek. - Some locations that will experience flooding include... Marion... Richlands... Tazewell... Saltville... Chilhowie... Cedar Bluff...
