Snow showers will continue moving through the area through the overnight, resulting in light accumulations of less than an inch in the lowlands and around 2-4 inches in the higher elevations.
With temperatures falling below freezing, slick spots may develop, especially on untreated roads where moisture from melted snow refreezes, forming black ice. Reduced visibility is also likely during snow showers.
If planning to travel tonight, slow down, allow extra distance between vehicles, and watch for slick spots on untreated pavement.
