Western Greenbrier County in southeastern West Virginia...

* Until 1100 AM EST.

* At 823 AM EST, Doppler radar and automated rain gauges indicated heavy rain coming to an end, with only light showers now passing across the warning area. Between 2 and 3 inches of rain have fallen since late last night.

* Moderate flooding is expected along the Greenbrier River in spots from Renick downstream to Alderson. Please reference the River Flood Warning for the Greenbrier River via a separate statement.
Some locations that will experience flooding include...
Rainelle, Alderson, Rupert, Quinwood, Renick, Falling Spring and Williamsburg. Portions of Highway 60, Anjean Road Stone House Road and Fort Springs Pike have been cut off due to flooding.
This includes the following streams and drainages...
Boggs Run, Sewell Creek, the Greenbrier River, and the Meadow River, which continues to rise rapidly this morning.
Additional rainfall amounts locally up to 0.25 inches are possible in the warned area.
