THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE HAS ISSUED SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WATCH 597 IN EFFECT UNTIL 8 PM EDT THIS EVENING FOR THE FOLLOWING AREAS IN OHIO THIS WATCH INCLUDES 6 COUNTIES IN NORTHEAST OHIO ASHTABULA GEAUGA LAKE MAHONING PORTAGE TRUMBULL IN PENNSYLVANIA THIS WATCH INCLUDES 2 COUNTIES IN NORTHWEST PENNSYLVANIA CRAWFORD ERIE THIS INCLUDES THE CITIES OF ASHTABULA, AURORA, AUSTINTOWN, BAINBRIDGE, BOARDMAN, BURTON, CHARDON, CHESTERLAND, CONNEAUT, EASTLAKE, ERIE, GENEVA, KENT, MEADVILLE, MENTOR, MIDDLEFIELD, NILES, PAINESVILLE, RAVENNA, SOUTH RUSSELL, STREETSBORO, TITUSVILLE, WARREN, WICKLIFFE, WILLOUGHBY, WILLOWICK, AND YOUNGSTOWN.
