Flood Warning issued January 24 at 10:53PM EST until January 25 at 1:30AM EST by NWS Charleston WV
At 1047 PM EST, Doppler radar and automated rain gauges indicated an area of very heavy rainfall had moved across the warned area.
Automated river gauges showed that streams had risen, including the Duck and Sunday Creeks, and the Shade River. Duck creek was just above bankfull at Macksburg, but its rise was starting to slow. The Ohio department of transportation reported ongoing road closures in Athens County west of Athens, and on state route 143 south of Wolfpen in Meigs County.

Parkersburg, Athens, Marietta, Belpre, Nelsonville, Glouster, Beverly, Albany, Coolville, Chesterhill, Forked Run State Park, Vienna, Williamstown, Washington, Mineralwells, Tuppers Plains, Lubeck, Boaz, Chester and Chauncey.
