Winter Weather Advisory issued November 11 at 2:29PM EST until November 12 at 7:00PM EST by NWS Charleston WV

* WHAT...
For the Winter Weather Advisory, snow expected. Total snow accumulations of 2 to 4 inches. Winds gusting as high as 40 mph. For the Wind Chill Advisory, very cold wind chills expected. Wind chills as low as 15 below zero.

* WHERE...
Northwest Pocahontas and Southeast Randolph Counties.

* WHEN...
For the Winter Weather Advisory, from 1 AM to 7 PM EST Tuesday. For the Wind Chill Advisory, from 7 PM Tuesday to 8 AM EST Wednesday.

Plan on slippery road conditions. Patchy blowing snow could significantly reduce visibility. The hazardous conditions could impact the morning or evening commute. The cold wind chills could result in hypothermia if precautions are not taken.

Rain tonight will switch over to all snow after midnight, with snow only slowly diminishing during the day Tuesday. As the snow begins, both air and road temperatures will quickly fall to below freezing, resulting in slick roadways. A few bursts of heavier snow may occur at times, resulting in very poor visibilities and further enhancing hazardous driving conditions. In addition, strong winds and cold temperatures may result in wind chill values falling to around 10 to 15 below across the higher mountains.
