At 201 PM EDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm near Rockingham. This thunderstorm was nearly stationary.
HAZARD...Wind gusts in excess of 30 mph and pea size hail.
SOURCE...Radar indicated.
IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is possible.
Locations impacted include...
Southern Pines, Rockingham, Raeford, Pinehurst, Hamlet, Aberdeen, Hoffman, Pinebluff, Ellerbe, and Foxfire.
