THE FOLLOWING MESSAGE IS TRANSMITTED AT THE REQUEST OF THE COLORADO AVALANCHE INFORMATION CENTER.
Avalanche Warning Termination for most Colorado Mountains.

* TIMING...
Beginning Thursday March 14. Expires at 6:00 AM MST Thursday March 8.

* AFFECTED AREA...
All mountain areas except the North San Juan Mountains * AVALANCHE DANGER...Backcountry avalanche conditions remain dangerous.

* REASON...
Avalanche danger is CONSIDERABLE (level 3 of 5).
Avalanches may release naturally, and can run from high elevations to the valley floors.

* PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...
Safe travel will require careful route finding and terrain selection. Give avalanche paths a wide berth. Avalanches may run further into the valleys than you anticipate.
