Flash Flood Warning issued July 13 at 2:29PM EDT until July 13 at 7:15PM EDT by NWS Blacksburg VA
At 229 PM EDT, Doppler radar indicated the heavy rain producing thunderstorms that prompted the warning have dissipated. However, between 1 and 2 inches of rain have fallen across the area, with the greatest concentration over Georges Creek and the Little Piney River. Flash flooding is ongoing or expected to begin shortly around this area, and downstream towards the community of Lowesville.
