Portions of Virginia, including the following areas, Alleghany VA, Amherst, Appomattox, Bath, Bedford, Botetourt, Campbell, Craig, Franklin, Giles, Montgomery, Pulaski, Roanoke and Rockbridge and southeast West Virginia, including the following areas, Eastern Greenbrier, Monroe, Summers and Western Greenbrier.

* WHEN...
Until 11 PM EDT this evening.

* IMPACTS...
Excessive runoff may result in flooding of rivers, creeks, streams, and other low-lying and flood-prone locations.
Flooding may occur in poor drainage and urban areas. Low-water crossings may be flooded.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
- Scattered thunderstorms through this evening will bring rainfall rates up to 3 inches an hour. The storms will be slow moving, so flash flooding may occur.
