The Flood Warning continues for the Ohio River At Robert C. Byrd Lock.

* From this afternoon to Wednesday evening.

* At 4:00 AM EST Tuesday the stage was 48.2 feet.

* Flood stage is 50.0 feet.

* Minor flooding is forecast.

* Forecast...
The river is expected to rise above flood stage late this afternoon to a crest of 50.4 feet just after midnight tonight. It will then fall below flood stage early tomorrow afternoon.

* Impact...
At 50.0 feet, Sections of Route 7 and portions of Gallipolis along the immediate river will flood. Also, bottom lands on the Ohio side of the river are flooded.

* Flood History...
This crest compares to a previous crest of 50.4 feet on 01/02/1991.
