At 1227 PM EDT, Doppler radar was tracking a series of thunderstorms with very heavy rainfall across the Hickory area. The storms were moving east at 10 mph.
Locations to be impacted include...
Hickory, St. Stephens, Longview, Conover, and Mountain View.
Very heavy rainfall rates up to 3 inches per hour will be possible in these areas.
