At 624 PM EDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm over central Washington County, moving east at 30 mph. It will enter western portions of Smyth and Grayson Counties by around 7 PM.
HAZARD...Wind gusts of 50 to 55 mph.
SOURCE...Radar indicated.
IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects.

Hungry Mother State Park...and Broadford.
