An extended period of very cold temperatures are expected, with daytime highs in the single digits to the mid teens and overnight lows 5 to 15 degrees below zero. Dangerously cold wind chills as low as 25 below zero possible.

* WHERE...
Portions of east central Ohio, western Pennsylvania, and northern West Virginia.

* WHEN...
From late Sunday night through Thursday morning.

* IMPACTS...
The dangerously cold wind chills as low as 25 below zero could cause frostbite on exposed skin in as little as 30 minutes.
Frostbite and hypothermia will occur if unprotected skin is exposed to these temperatures. An extended period of freezing temperatures could cause ruptured water pipes.
